Delete your account.
Use this page to request deletion of your herbackpack account and associated personal data.
Before you continue: Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and associated data, except information we are legally required or legitimately permitted to retain. Deletion may remove your profile, posts, travel content, saved information and access to account-based features.
How to request deletion
- Send an email from the email address associated with your herbackpack account.
- Use the subject line Delete my herbackpack account.
- Include the phone number or email address associated with your account so we can identify the correct account.
- We may ask for reasonable verification to prevent unauthorised deletion.
What happens next?
- We will review and verify the request.
- We will process deletion within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention and regulatory requirements.
- If information must be retained for a lawful reason, we will retain only what is required and protect it appropriately.
- Deletion of your account does not necessarily cancel third-party purchases, bookings or subscriptions made through external providers; those may need to be cancelled separately.
